Teenagers face a lot of challenges in our current culture, such as bullying, the effects of social media, fitting in, and more. Without the proper tools to help them deal with these challenges they can resort to alchol, drugs, or other self destructive behaviors such as harming other or themselves.
We are dedicated to helping teens developing the resiliency to handle their current challenges and ones they will face in the future.
Our founder Marie-Christine Williams survived the Rwandan genocide when she was only 14 years old, but even before that she had a childhood full of abuse, neglect, and bullying. She shares her message as part of the Teen Empowerment Program, which has the mission to bring back hope to teenagers who are struggling, and to help develop acceptance of themselves and others.
